Okay, I've signed up for my first KAL

Here we go with our first blog KAL. I've signed up and here's the yarn I got yesterday at the LYS. It is GGH Bali (50% cotton/50% acrylic). At $4/skein I couldn't resist.













I realized that my camera does not do purple so I scanned the color which is much truer here.










To refresh your memory...here's the pattern. It knits from top down. I've done about 1 inch so far...once it looks like something more I'll post a picture.
