Great Gift Idea

I've been admiring these Subway Mittens from the Winter Interweave Knits as an idea but don't really know anyone who uses mass transit. Then I had a stroke of genius...knit them up and use the pocket for a Dunkin' Donuts (or Starbucks) gift card. I'm going to make them for Jackie for Christmas as she bikes to DD every now and then. She can wear her mittens, bike, and enjoy a treat. Perfect!

The pattern calls for Cascade 220 which I know we both have plenty of in stash.

Just wanted to share a quick gift idea - could be a good teacher gift...
