Half a Christmas Gift

Okay this is what I've resorted to after knitting my first pair of socks in 15+ years!



Just kidding...I'm loving the Jaywalker pattern but I've realized my Christmas gift for my friend Jackie won't be ready in time. So she's getting half a gift...I've wrapped up this sock and told her I need it back so it's eventual mate will be the same size. As you can see the Regia Bamboo doesn't really do justice to this clever pattern however it does make the socks far more interesting than K2P2. Will post the pair when they are done. Now back to the sweater I'm doing on commission and should try and finish!
