Lucky Birthday Girl!

Yesterday was my birthday (and Mother's Day...I was even born on Mother's Day!) and today in the mailbox there was a wonderful package from my knitting sister, Elizabeth.

She told me she wanted to come up with something new and different and non-knitting but I'm so glad she got what I love - yarn and knitting supplies.

Three skeins of worsted weight wool which may or may not make it into my log cabin blanket...the colors are divine together and could make a cute bag.

She also got me a Lantern Moon Needle case which will hold several pairs of circulars. It is a lovely fabric.
There also was this adorable Lantern Moon Post It notepad holder...who doesn't use Post It notes on their knitting! Brilliant!


Better yet, inside was this note! I can't wait to get my first issue!
