What's Next on the Needles

So this Classic Elite 03 Tweed has been sitting in my stash for 2 years. I intended it for the Sunrise Circle Jacket which I've since decided won't be the most flattering for me. So after an exhaustive search (thank you Ravelry) I found the Callie Cardigan. I'm going to swatch this very soon. I realize it is a winter/fall weight sweater but I have time to work on it.

I now get the Classic Elite online newsletter and I fell in love with this smocked top...not for me but for my daughter. She's asked if I can adapt it and make it into a dress for this summer. So, we're going to get online and see what Knit Picks Shine can do for us. She's so excited and I am looking forward to the challenge

Don't worry, I haven't bailed on my other projects...I've done about 6-7 inches of the K3, P3 ribbing. I even was knitting in the movies yesterday while watching Prince Caspian. I did have to put it down when the action got too exciting...unfortunately I had to fix 3 minor mistakes from not being able to see in the dark.
